TO BE SAVED from WITCHES

MORE BLACK HUMOR THAN A YELLOW FEVER VICTIM!

.

Skadi meic Beorh has contracted with WildSide Press for his satirical fantasy novel To Be Saved from Witches, a fun, rollicking tale of piracy, magic, and the exploration of new and fantastic worlds.

Enter the twisted realities of a salty old ship captain, a fiery gunner, a quick-minded quartermaster, a deadly deckhand, a suave faery lord, a bleeding seductress, a weird new race of hominids, and an ancient trickster-god. Relax on the Queen Anne’s Revenge with Captain Edward Teach, alias Blackbeard. Travel to the American Southwest and straight into the odd land of Carlos Castaneda. Spend time with the Timucua Indians in St. Augustine, Florida. Encounter ghosts, madmen, kooks, and the hilarious self-righteous in…

“Skadi has a certain swashbuckling style
of humor that few other authors can replicate.
I have just read the opening few pages
of To Be Saved from Witches, and I'm quite
impressed. His prose envelops me like a silk
sheet. I exhort him to be unapologetically
true to his unique period aesthetic; for that
is where he excels. Breaking out the scotch
and settling into the study is the most eager
anticipatory response of which I'm capable,
and indeed, he delivers.”
