All of the writings of Skadi meic Beorh, though they may seem unrelated, are based in the understanding that the cosmos is a creative pulse driven by a Mind wholly impersonal, yet wholly benevolent; a paradox made more interesting with the understanding that every sentient being, organic or inorganic, acts as either a harmonious vehicle of this Mind, or as an antagonist in need of reinstatement. And this chance for restoration comes in a most shocking Act, so terrible as to remain largely unfathomable (and therefore unacceptable to most of the malcontent sentience known as Humanity as well as to an unknown number of other entities). The few beings who acquiesce to the aforementioned Mind become the creators they are meant to be. The writings of Skadi meic Beorh explore these wondrous creatures of rebirth (through the shocking Act mentioned above), their journeys, their pitfalls, their victories, their necessary petty tyrants, and their transformed and enviable environs.

Writers of speculative fiction, if they are not allegorists, are not writing for the reader's "escape," but for their inspiration. Make the dreams you love into realities with the same creative power you use to accept sensory reality.
